3D Printed Bullet Feeder – 9mm

A working 3D printed version of the Bullet feeder. This is used for progressive reloading presses. 9mm bullets are placed into the hopper and as the feeding wheel spins, bullets fall into the exterior slots and are automatically flipped to sit right side up if they are not already. There is an integrated speed control, cut-off switch and bullet seating die.

Aside from some small modifications, the mounts and cut-off switch, these are not my original designs or files. I came across them at some point on a reloading forum and unfortunately am unaware of who the original credit goes to.

Special thanks to:

DPGunWorks' 9mm Bullet Feeder Die was used without modification - See Here.

I believe AmmoMike is the creator of the original CAD files, so many thanks to him as well.

This is a past project that was started before the creation of this website. I’m in the process of working backwards to recreate the documentation, but there may be gaps present

Hey, love the design, I am printing mine up now. I noticed in the github some of the files are missing, namely the bullet shoot and the cutoff switch housing. Any chance you could provide those files as well? Thanks!

Hi, is necesary to buy powder funnel or can I use default die? thank you

    • dewz

It is required for the bullet feeder to place the bullets correctly.

    Great project! THANKS
I feel like the PLA or PETG used is the exact same color as the Dillon press.
Would it be possible to have the reference?

Thank you !!! So excellent of you to share this. I do have a question. What is your infill settings. I wonder because it might need certain weight requirements.

Great design and changes. Thanks for such an in depth video of the assembly etc.

Hi, may you please share the wiring scheme? I’ve watch the video multiple times, but it is still unclear to me ho to connect the switch. Thanks

everything is working well except the motor is not strong enough to turn more than a few projectiles. Are you sure you are using the 100 rpm and not the 10 rpm? The latter would have more torque. Thanks for the great build!

Has anyone had issues with the projectiles getting dropped sideways into the funnel and clogging it up. I have the feeder in the correct orientation according to the mount. I’m using 115gn rn 9mm.
I am not good enough with cad to try and tackle this myself. Perhaps a smaller opening for the funnel and a longer taper instead of the blunt start?
    Thanks!
